Studies show that sitting more than half a day increases the risk of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases. People who sit more than 8 hours a day are more prone to obesity and joint pains, arthritis, tight neck and shoulders.
Tight muscles or body aches lead to poor movement patterns, indirectly increasing medical expenses.
Many of these poor movement patterns can be addressed or mitigated through simple techniques and lifestyle habits.
Our Managing Joint Pains Workshop, which offers both theoretical and practical components, will teach participants:
- Natural remedies to boost their immune system
- The concept of “You are What You Eat”
- Hands-on exercises to improve their mobility
- Application of self-massage

- Anyone who suffers from joint aches, especially those above 40 years old
- Caregivers of arthritis sufferers
- Individuals who are keen to gain knowledge on managing joint pains
Nina was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 20 years ago. She has been featured in our local newspaper for her fight against the disease. She will share her journey from being bedridden to finding remedies to regain her lifestyle. She is a living proof that You are What you Eat. Nina is also a certified ICF coach, who helps individuals in health, life and career related issues.
Joy is a certified personal trainer specializing in mobility, posture, women’s fitness and senior fitness regimes. She has helped many individuals suffering from backaches, postural problems and joint pains to regain their movement and improve performance of daily activities.
