NAF Board

The Board is responsible for all matters pertaining to the planning, operations and execution of the Foundation’s goals and mission. The diverse skillsets brought to the Board by all board member provide the Foundation with good oversight to manage the activities of the Foundation. The Board also lays out the long-term vision to ensure the Foundation remains relevant to the community that it supports.

Mr Benjamin Gaw

Chairman

Mr Benjamin Gaw is a Director at Drew & Napier in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups, as well as Head, Healthcare & Life Sciences – Corporate & Regulatory. He is also a member of the Telecommunications Media and Technology and Information Technology Practice Group and the Employment Practice Group at the firm.

Mr Gaw serves as a Board member at the National Arthritis Foundation.

He graduated from the National University of Singapore with LL.B. (Hons) and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2009. In addition, he attained a Specialist Diploma in Molecular Biotechnology from Ngee Ann Polytechnic.

Dr Anindita Santosa

Deputy Chairman

Dr Anindita Santosa is a Consultant Rheumatologist and Medical Director at Aaria Rheumatology. Prior to starting her current role, she was Head and Consultant at the Division of Rheumatology at Changi General Hospital.

She is a strong proponent of patient and public education and believes that all patients and caregivers should have access to good-quality information, resources and clinical care. It is this believe that has led her to collaborate with various entities to develop screening tools and virtual assistants for patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases.

Dr Santosa graduated from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore in 2008 and obtained her Royal College of Physicians (UK) membership in 2013. She completed her Rheumatology senior residency at Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2016 and became a fellow of the Academy of Medicine Singapore in 2017. Dr Santosa also holds a Master of Science in Allergy (Imperial College, London, UK).

Mr Chris Choo

Treasurer

Mr Chris Choo is CEO of Wellton & Trent International. He has more than twenty-eight years of experience in the financial industry, working in auditing, accounting, tax, finance and risk management. He started his career with Deloitte Singapore prior to joining Mazars Singapore in 2006 where he was an audit partner before he left in 2014 to start Wellton & Trent. His experience spans from audit engagements, IPO projects, due diligence assignments and outsourced accounting/tax work, to internal and external audit and various corporate advisory engagements.

From 2007 to 2009, Mr Choo sat on the main and sub-committee of the Financial Statements Review Committee in ISCA reviewing the financial statements of listed and non-listed companies. He joined the NAF Board in 2022.

Mr Choo holds the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK) qualification and is a Chartered Accountant of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK).

Ms Lisa Yeoh

Secretary

Ms Lisa Yeoh is an ICF credentialed Executive, Leadership and Career Coach at Ingeus. She previously held senior executive roles including Asia Pacific Vice President and Managing Director at MNCs in the life sciences and medtech sectors. Her extensive experience spans strategy development, business transformation, leadership and culture development, inclusion, diversity, and social impact.

Ms Yeoh was appointed as a NAF Board member in 2021. She also currently serves as President Elect on the International Coaching Federation Singapore Chapter board, and the Harvard Business Review Advisory Council. Her past board experience includes being a Governor at the American Chamber of Commerce and President of the pharmaceutical industry association.

Ms Yeoh holds the Senior Accredited Board Director MSID, SID-SRAD credential, Bachelor of Economics (Hons) from University of Malaya, MBA and executive education from Dubuque, Harvard and Simmons universities, USA.

Mr Steve Manning

Member

Mr Steve Manning is a Managing Partner at N2Growth, a global leadership consulting and executive search firm. His specialization is in Technology, Industrial, Manufacturing sectors, and Private Equity. Prior to relocating to Singapore, Steve spent a number of years on assignment in Japan and Shanghai, and has held senior executive roles in Asia including COO, CMO, and EVP positions.

In addition to being a board member at the National Arthritis Foundation, Mr Manning is also a committee member at the Singapore Institute of Directors.

Mr Manning holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, a Master’s degree in Marketing from University of Strathclyde Glasgow, and a Certificate in International Management from INSEAD.

Mr Yeong Wai Teck

Member

Mr Yeong Wai Teck is the Managing Director of Aegis Building & Engineering Pte Ltd, which he established in 2002.

Mr Yeong has been actively serving in the People’s Association Grassroots as an Executive member in the Citizens’ Consultative Committee and Community Club Management Committee since 2004. In honour of his dedicated service, he was conferred the PBM in 2008 and subsequently a BBM in 2013. As a Board member at the National Arthritis Foundation, Mr Yeong has served as fundraising chairman.

Mr Yeong graduated from the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) with a Masters in Entrepreneurship.

Ms Neo Chia Reei

Member

Ms Neo Chia Reei is a Technopreneur specialising in Digital Transformations and establishing ecommerce marketplaces. She also lectures at universities and polytechnics to transform students, mid-career and C-level executives for “future-ready” career opportunities. Ms Neo’s professional experience spans 30 years at major organisations including General Electric Company, NUS and SMU, where she has held senior management positions.

Besides being a Board member at the National Arthritis Foundation, she has also served on the Boards of several non-profit organisations. She has had deep involvement in the Social Enterprise sector through consulting work done across the NTUC group of Social Enterprises.

Ms Neo has a Master of Business Administration from California State University and a Bachelor of Science (Chemistry & Economics) from National University of Singapore.

Ms Amee Parikh

Member

Ms Amee Parikh is currently a Director at Amansa Capital Pte Ltd, overseeing its corporate governance and risk management systems. She has over 20 years of experience as a corporate law and finance consultant.

Ms Parikh is a non-executive director of not-for-profit organisations in India and Singapore where she contributes towards fundraising, capacity building and donor relations. She joined the NAF Board in 2019.

In addition to her graduate degree in finance, Ms. Parikh holds a Master in Public Administration from National University of Singapore and a FT Non-Executive Director Diploma. She is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, ICSA.

Ms Yvonne Goh

Member

Ms Yvonne Goh has over 25 years’ experience as a Chartered Secretary where she assisted Boards of numerous companies listed on the Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX) with their compliance and regulatory requirements.

She was the Managing Director of KCS’ office in Singapore, a global professional services organisation, and prior to that, she was Managing Director at Boardroom Limited, an SGX-listed professional services firm. Her past professional appointments include her Board seats at Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA), Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), and Singapore Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (SAICSA).

Ms Goh was appointed as a NAF Board member in 2020. She is ​currently also a Board member of an SGX-listed company. Ms Goh had served on the Board of EQUAL-ARK Singapore Limited, a registered IPC charity.

Ms Jeannie Ong

Member

Ms Jeannie Ong has 25 years of management experience where she specialises in Financial Communications, Marketing, Branding and Sustainability.

Jeannie had an illustrious career working in listed companies and start-ups, spanning across different industries. She held positions such as Chief Investor Relations Officer, Chief Strategic Partnership Officer, and Chief Marketing Officer, advising the Boards and Companies on branding and marketing, Investor Relations, sustainability and all communication matters.

Jeannie was appointed as a NAF Board member in May 2020. She is also the Founding Board Member & IR Advisor of Aetria Health, a healthcare start-up in Thailand.

Jeannie holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of London, majoring in Economics and Marketing. She also has an Advanced Diploma in Healthcare Management and Digital Health from the Singapore Management University.

Mr Felix Wang

Member

Mr Felix Wang is the Group CFO for Geomotion Group and the Group CFO for Wanthorpe Family Office. He was previously the General Manager (Bucho) at Itochu Plastics and various business entities within the Itochu Group for over two decades. An internationally experienced CPA qualified CFO, he has been consistently delivering on corporate board requirements through his expertise in corporate governance, financial reporting, and tax solutions. He has also managed various business entities over US$100M, opened green field operations in ASEAN, completed key corporate acquisitions and was involved in the successful IPO placement of Omni Plus Systems in Tokyo Stock Exchanges that resulted in double digit valuations.

Mr Felix Wang was appointed as NAF Board Member in November 2020.

He graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) degree and holds a CPA from Australia CPA.

Dr Margaret Ma

Member

Dr Margaret Ma is a Senior Consultant in the Division of Rheumatology, Department of Medicine at the National University Hospital. She is also an Assistant Professor at the NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine. Before joining National University Hospital in 2019, she worked at King’s College Hospital in the UK as a Rheumatology Consultant and she had also spent time as a Visiting Scholar in the Department of Rheumatology at UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital (UCH), USA.

Dr Ma obtained a distinction in her medical degree (MBBS) from King's College London and underwent her junior doctor training at St Thomas and Guy's Hospital in London. She was also awarded a distinction in her MSc in Rheumatology at King's College London. Subsequently, she was awarded the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Doctoral Research Fellowship to undertake her doctoral thesis in rheumatoid arthritis at King's College London.

Dr Ma was appointed as a NAF Board member in 2021.

Ms Prudence Chan

Member

Prudence Chan is the Founder & Clinical Director of Pacific Rehab Group, a Consultant Occupational Therapist registered with Allied Health Profession Council (AHPC) and a Dementia Care Specialist at the firm. She has more than 17 years of clinical and corporate experience in the healthcare sector in Singapore through her involvement in rehabilitation projects at restructured hospitals, community hospitals and community-based settings.

Prudence is currently appointed as a Visiting Consultant of the Innovation & Productivity Workgroup of Lions Home for the Elders, and as a Subject Matter Expert to help develop innovative solutions in Dementia with National University of Singapore’s School of Integrative Sciences & Engineering.

She is a graduate of University of Stirling with Masters in Dementia Studies & La Trobe University (Australia) with Bachelor in Occupational Therapy.

Dr Adrian Lau

Member

Dr Adrian Lau is currently practicing at Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital as a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon in Singapore with an interest in primary and complex hip and knee arthroplasty. Prior to entering private practice, Dr Lau was a Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery at Changi General Hospital, where he was also the Director of Hip and Knee Surgery.

He was awarded the Ministry of Health Training Award in 2014 and completed subspecialty training in revision hip and knee surgery at the London Health Sciences Centre in Ontario Canada. He further gained expertise in unicompartmental knee replacements during his second fellowship at Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford. He started his own private practice at Hip & Knee Orthopaedics 2021, where he sees patients with hip and knee conditions, including sports injuries and hip and knee arthritis.

Dr Lau was co-opted as a NAF Board member in October 2024.

Ms Daphne Ng

Member

Daphne comes from an entrepreneurial family background in the travel and hospitality sector. An NUS Business graduate, she has over 15 years B2B sales experience starting in corporate banking for 8 years where she led the e-trade digitisation project at her last bank; followed by 7 years in the technology sector. She is a recognized digital leader and her accolades include SG100 Women in Tech and Top 100 Women in Fintech globally. She is also a Professional Council Member of Global Fintech Institute.

Daphne is well-networked in the tech sector and has established good investors and B2B relationships in the region, which includes securing investment from Temasek-backed Vertex Ventures and other prolific investors for her first tech startup in 2021. She is also an active investor and advisor for a few AI and tech startups in Singapore.

As a Board Member of NAF, Daphne hopes to contribute especially in the areas of corporate fundraise and new digital initiatives that will benefit the community that NAF serves.
